Four Wealthspire Advisors Named Top Financial Advisors by Washingtonian Magazine

New York, March 14, 2022 – Wealthspire Advisors, an NFP company and independent investment advisor, announced that managing directors Tim Hughes, Ashley Iddings, Grant Ruder, and John Wolff were named top financial advisors in the DC Metro area by Washingtonian Magazine. The Washingtonian’s 2022 Top Financial Advisor list recognizes the top financial advisors in the DC Metro area. As part of the selection process, hundreds of financial professionals and experts in the region are surveyed on whom they would trust with their own money. The magazine’s staff then conducts extensive research to determine the top advisors, which ensures that only nominees with the strongest recommendations are named to the list. There was no charge to be included in this award listing.

Tim Hughes, CFP® is a Managing Director and head of the firm’s Reston, Virginia office. He has been working with the firm and its predecessors since 2007 and has over 20 years of experience in wealth management. Hughes is a Certified Financial Planner professional who specializes in helping charitably inclined families optimize their philanthropic goals and providing lending strategies to assist business owners and investors in bridging uneven cash flow needs. This is Hughes’ second year on Washingtonian’s Top Financial Advisor list.

Ashley E. Iddings, CIMA®, CPWA® is a Managing Director and co-head of Wealthspire Advisors’ Potomac, Maryland office. Iddings has been with the firm and its predecessors since 2008 and has almost 20 years of wealth management experience. A Certified Investment Management Analyst® and Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, she specializes in coordinating the complex financial affairs of individual clients and client families. This is Iddings’ third year on Washingtonian’s Top Financial Advisor list.

Grant Ruder, CFP® is a Managing Director and has been with the firm and its predecessors since 2007. Ruder is a Certified Financial Planner professional who prides himself on serving as a fiduciary and objective advisor to high-net-worth individuals and their families, endowments, and other institutional clientele.
