Wealthspire Advisors Launches Outsourced CIO Services

New York, July 7, 2020 – Wealthspire Advisors, an NFP company and independent investment advisor, today announced the launch of their Outsourced CIO services to RIAs serving sophisticated clients. Smaller advisor firms are now able to engage Wealthspire Advisors for customized investment services, including due diligence, investment product selection and other forms of case support.

Outsourced CIO clients will receive a customized suite of research support based on firm goals and needs. They will also have access to key tools, including routinely updated model portfolios, capital market assumptions, manager due diligence, and case support for large clients and prospects. Clients will have the support of investment team members with specialized expertise in equities, fixed income, alternative strategies and legal form (fund, SMA, LPs). Outsourced CIO clients also have access to investment commentaries, reports, and time-sensitive market updates and content.

“Outsourced CIO gives RIAs the best of both worlds,” said Wealthspire CEO Mike LaMena. “By outsourcing important investment processes that take considerable time and expertise, advisors free up time for individual investment conversations, additional client care and other areas of practice management. Furthermore, participating RIAs tap into our investment team’s expertise, passion for understanding investment markets and previous experience delivering outsourced solutions.”

“In an environment that is constantly increasing in complexity and risk, the speed and agility to respond to markets is critical,” said Wealthspire chief investment officer Michael Moriarty. “Our Outsourced CIO solution offers RIAs the ability to maintain investment autonomy as part of their value proposition. Rather than a subscription-based service that is one-size-fits-all, we build a customized relationship with firms to create the deliverables they need most, freeing up their time to engage with current and future clients on the more personal side of investing.”
