Myka has been with the firm since 2014 and serves as an advisor in our Reston, VA office.
She brings over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, joining the team from a role at Sage Advisory Services, where she worked with independent and wirehouse financial advisors promoting separately managed accounts and exchange-traded funds.
In her current role, Myka collaboratively works with each of her clients to define their financial goals and design a comprehensive action plan that fits each of the client’s unique planning needs: retirement, taxes, insurance, and investments. In addition, Myka’s goal is to be a financial “quarterback” for her clients, coordinating with each of their other service professionals like attorneys, insurance agents, and accountants to help consolidate and simplify their lives.
Internally at Wealthspire, Myka is active in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee. When not working, she loves playing with her dog, gardening, making pottery, and traveling with her husband to her hometown in West Texas to visit family and friends and attend Texas Tech football games.
