Kevin Smith joined the firm in 2018 and has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. As an advisor, Kevin works with a very diverse range of clients who are at varying stages of their financial journeys, including young professionals focused on accumulating wealth in technology and other fast-evolving industries.
Kevin believes in educating people about money early in their careers, and with his thorough experience with the firm’s technology partners, he helped to create Wealthspire Pathways, a hybrid wealth management offering which incorporates a streamlined investment solution focusing on client’s life goals and using personalized financial planning.
Kevin is a frequent author and speaker on financial topics, and participated on a panel at the 13th Annual RIA East Investment Forum in 2023 as well as InVest 2019, the 5th annual digital wealth management event hosted by Financial Planning.
As an advocate for financial literacy, Kevin is committed to giving back to his community as a Junior Achievement volunteer at JA Finance Park®. There, he guides middle school students through a day-long digital budgeting experience, stopping along the way to share his own perspectives to bring the program to life. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of Central Florida and is a member of Wealthspire’s Financial Planning Committee.
Originally from Westchester, New York, he currently resides with his wife in Indialantic, FL where he enjoys competing in triathlons, scuba diving, and playing pickleball.
