Giving Back is Part of Who We Are

Wealthspire was founded on a mission of serving others to make lives better. Through ASPIRE by Wealthspire, we carry that mission into our communities.

Our Four Pillars

We're committed to making a difference in our communities as volunteers, sponsors, patrons, and board members. We launched ASPIRE by Wealthspire as our community-focused platform for giving and support, built around four key pillars:

Education

We are educators. We help people make smart financial decisions with confidence. That same instinct drives us to raise awareness around issues that affect our communities, our industry, and the world. We're a founding member of the Net Positive Consortium, a group of wealth management firms exploring how leadership, culture, and accountability can move the industry forward.

Advocacy

We believe we rise by working together. We advocate for those without a voice and support causes rooted in equity and inclusion. Through the Wealthspire CFP® Certification Diversity Scholarship, we help people from underrepresented communities pursue CFP® certification. Five people received the scholarship in 2025.

Partnership

We recognize the work already being done in our communities, and we partner with organizations doing it well rather than starting from scratch. One example: our ongoing work with the Special Education Legal Fund, supporting families of children with special needs through resource fairs, educational webinars, and direct donations.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship lets us put real funding behind the causes that matter to our people, from local nonprofits to national organizations working to create a better world.

John-Wolffe

The John Wolff Award

Each year, the John Wolff Award recognizes one Wealthspire employee for outstanding charitable efforts in their community.

The award is named posthumously for John Wolff, a managing director in our Reston, VA office, and honors a life dedicated to philanthropic work. The honoree selects a charity of their choice to receive a one-time donation in their name.
