Samia L. Clookie, CFP®, CDFA®

Assistant Vice President

Samia serves as an Assistant Vice President and Advisor based in our Annapolis office and is deeply committed to helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and peace of mind around their financial lives. She works closely with individuals and families to identify what matters most to them, understand how their decisions impact long-term outcomes, and develop thoughtful, goal-driven strategies designed to support both financial security and personal wellbeing.

Samia is especially passionate about guiding clients through periods of transition and uncertainty. With a steady, empathetic approach, she helps individuals navigate life’s complexities, empowering them to make well-informed, intentional decisions that align with their values and long-term objectives.

In addition to her client work, Samia currently serves as a Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland and as Chair of the Women in Finance Committee, where she is actively involved in advancing professional excellence, mentorship, and the growth of women within the financial planning profession. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing pickleball, and is learning how to crochet. Originally from New York, Samia lived in Philadelphia and now resides in Maryland with her husband, Mark, stepdaughter, Leda, and their four furry felines.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® or CDFA® professionals must develop their theoretical and practical understanding and knowledge of the financial aspects of divorce by completing a comprehensive course of study approved by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. CDFA® professionals must have two years minimum experience in a financial or legal capacity prior to earning the right to use the CDFA® certification mark.
