Kurt is the leader of Wealthspire Executive Benefits Practice. With more than two decades of experience, he advises organizations, boards, and retirement committees on executive compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive benefit strategy, governance, and funding. Kurt works with employers nationwide to help align executive benefit programs with talent retention, retirement readiness, and long-term organizational objectives. A frequent speaker and industry consultant, he is known for translating complex executive benefit and risk management issues into practical strategies that support both organizational and participant outcomes.
Outside of his consulting work, Kurt is an accomplished ultrarunner and speaker who often draws on lessons from endurance sports to illustrate the value of resilience, disciplined preparation, and long-term thinking in leadership and financial decision-making. He earned a B.S. in Economics & Finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and resides in Greensboro, North Carolina.
