Karin Maloney Stifler, CFP®, AIF®, MBA

Managing Director

Karin specializes in helping women and families across generations to intentionally manage every facet of their personal wealth in one cohesive plan that enriches life in meaningful ways. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), she’s highly experienced and well trained to help clients navigate their unique life challenges and opportunities with confidence and financial security.

Her clients frequently describe Karin as a thinking partner, personal CFO, and a coach/advocate. Karin’s goal is to help expand her clients’ financial knowledge and build a prudent plan that will instill further confidence in their financial and life decisions. With intention and care, she builds deep relationships with her clients and their families to understand each person’s unique vision for what it means to enjoy life today, while preparing for a secure and fulfilling future.

Prior to joining Wealthspire Advisors, Karin spent 25 years at firms in Chicago, Boston, and Cleveland serving high-net-worth and institutional clients. She is fortunate to have been mentored by the profession’s pioneers and thought leaders.

Karin is also a 21/64 Certified Advisor specializing in philanthropic planning. She has served as an Investment Trustee for the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund since she was appointed by the Ohio Treasurer of State in 2015. Karin is also a board member of the Hudson Community Foundation and Miami University’s Women Giving Circle. Previously, she served on the National Board of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and co-founded the FPA’s pro bono program. Her professional recognition includes the FPA Heart of Financial Planning and Crain’s Cleveland Notable Wealth Manager awards.

In her spare time, Karin is an avid runner, enjoys traveling to new destinations, and playing ball with her dog Remy. As an empty nester, she cherishes time spent with her husband and their three sons and daughters-in-law.
