Glen Macdonald provides comprehensive financial planning, investment management and impact investing solutions to families, foundations and endowed nonprofits. He is recognized nationally as a leader in values-based investing and innovative philanthropy.
Glen is also the founder and Chairman of the Wealth & Giving Forum, which promotes the effective deployment of capital among families and foundations that seek both positive financial and social returns.
He was previously a Senior Vice President and institutional client advisor at U.S. Trust. a principal at a private equity firm, and a management consulting partner in PwC’s Telecom and Media practice.
Glen has presented his perspective on the capital markets, impact investing and effective philanthropy at various conferences, including the Forbes Family Business Conference, Big Path’s Impact Capitalism Summit, the Social Impact Exchange Conference, and the Family Wealth Alliance.
Glen was recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship at the Harvard Center for International Affairs, a French Government’s Chateaubriand Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct economic research in Mexico. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Intentional Endowment Network and the Borough of Manhattan Community College Foundation.
