Note: If you don’t have the 10-digit PIN sent to you when you originally placed a security freeze on your Equifax credit report, you can request a new one in writing. Please provide proof of identification, such as a copy of your driver’s license, passport, birth certificate or other document. Send request to address listed above in Mail. A new PIN will be mailed within 10 business days.

 

Experian

Call: (800) 686-1111 (Note: If you lose your pin, you can also request a PIN reminder by telephone using our automated system. Call 1-888-EXPERIAN (1-888-397-3742) and follow the prompts to have a PIN reminder mailed to you.)

Online: visit www.experian.com/freeze. Users will be prompted to input personal information and submit online form.

Note: If you lose your PIN, you can request a PIN reminder by visiting Experian’s online Security Freeze Center.

Simply select “Request a Personal Identification Number” and then “Request a PIN Reminder.” You may be asked to provide documentation to verify your identity before a new PIN can be issued.

Note: If PIN was lost request one by calling (888) 909-8872 and answer the prompted security questions to confirm identity. A letter will be sent with a replacement PIN if identity is confirmed.
